Easier? Would it? The Exarch simply cannot believe that. It might make it easier to gain Felih's trust, but a great deal harder to not leave him heartbroken and betrayed... not to mention for him to do what he must to achieve his goals. Such thoughts are secondary to Felih's answer, however, and the moment he hears Lyna yet lives some of the tension drops from his shoulders and he can't help his sigh of relief.
